Unconventional Therapy
Therapy for anxiety, overwhelm, and feeling disconnected from yourself.
Virtual across Canada and in British Columbia.
Relational, grounded, and human.
I work with people who are used to holding it all together, but feel exhausted, stuck, or not fully themselves underneath it all.
You don't need to be fixed.
You need space to understand what’s happening inside you and support to work through it.
Deep work doesn’t have to be heavy. It can be structured without being rigid, honest without being harsh, and serious without losing warmth or humor.
Healing, to me, is about coming home to yourself, with clarity, safety, and compassion.
The Path Forward
MY Approach
You don’t have to have it all figured out to start.
Most of the people I work with are insightful, capable, and self-aware, but still feel stuck in patterns they can’t think their way out of.
If you’re looking for therapy in North Vancouver or online across Canada, this is a space to slow down, understand yourself, and reconnect.
Therapy here isn’t about fixing you.
It’s about understanding you.
You might be here if:
-
You feel anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly in your head
-
You struggle with overthinking or emotional burnout
-
You’re used to being the “high-functioning” one, but it’s catching up to you
-
You feel disconnected from yourself, your body, or your direction
-
You’re navigating big life changes, identity shifts, or relationship patterns
-
You’re tired of performing, explaining, or shrinking to fit
This is therapy for people who are ready to understand themselves more deeply, not just cope.
For changing to last, we work across mind, body, and emotion, so change isn’t just insight. It’s something you actually feel and live.
Who I help:
I take an integrative approach to therapy, combining:
-
ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy)
-
Parts work (IFS-informed)
-
CBT & DBT tools
-
Nervous system regulation
I work with the whole person, not just thoughts, not just symptoms, and not just your story.
My approach to counselling supports insight, emotional regulation, and a deeper sense of self-connection. Counselling session available in North Vancouver (and online across Canada).
How I work:
Mind
(Anxiety, Overthinking, Inner Critic)
How we make sense of the world.
The mind is always trying to understand what’s happening, using past experiences to interpret the present. It creates patterns, beliefs, and stories that once helped you survive, even if they no longer serve us.
In our work, we explore patterns, thoughts, and beliefs that keep you stuck and create space for new ways of relating to them.
Body
(Stress, Burnout, Nervous System)
Your body holds more than you think.
The body is constantly tracking safety, threat, and connection. Long before words, it learned how to protect us through tension, numbness, activation, or collapse.
Change doesn’t land if the body still feels unsafe, no matter how much insight we have. So we work with regulation, tension, and emotional responses, not against them.
Spirit
(Identity, Meaning, Connection)
Beyond roles. Beyond survival. Back to yourself.
Spirit work is rooted in connection, to yourself, to others, and to something larger than the roles we’ve had to survive.
This is about reconnecting with who you are underneath expectations, roles, and survival patterns.
This is where therapy becomes not just relief, but orientation, a sense of coming home to yourself.
